Here on Fangorn Farm, we are doing our best to help with the Conservation of Native Bees here in Ireland. Every year we ensure to plant flowers which our native bees seek out and thrive on as well as tending to perennials. We do use any chemical pesticides to control wild growth ( yes, this means battling nettles and brambles by hand).

Onsite we have hives for the Native Black Bee (Apis mellifera mellifera). We have hives for only a short while but we are looking to try and increase hive count as the seasons go.
